Divetech has had the pleasure
of organizing a number of underwater weddings and some
vow renewals over the years in Grand Cayman. Divetech
can arrange a private Charter in the afternoon
for your special day. The "Wedding Boat" includes:
- Your own Private boat - 4 hour charter
- Captain and Dive crew
- Many options for locations in warm, clear, shallow
waters or at Stingray City to have the underwater
ceremony
- Dive tanks & weights or snorkeling for the
non-divers
- Accommodations for up to 25 guests on the Wedding

Your official ceremony can be on
the boat with your choice of Ministers, or on land when
you return from the charter trip. The Minister and marriage
licenses are paid separately directly to the Minister that
you choose. For Ministers there are a number of choices
for all denominations or preferences. All wedding officers
are listed on the government website noted below. We have
used Mr. Jackson and find that he is very good on the
boats and very flexible on the service that you would like.
He has standard vows that can be used, or you
can modify it as you like. On the Cayman Government website you
can also find a list of all of the legal requirements
for getting married in the Cayman Islands.
We help you plan your wedding, from cakes
to flowers to decorations, tents and more. Cobalt

I
wanted to thank you and Arie for the most beautiful wedding
at Cobalt Coast. Since I was a young girl, I dreamed
about an oceanside wedding and March 6 far surpassed all
my dreams. Cobalt, working with Celebrations, did
such an incredible job decorating the resort. It seemed
like a fairy wonderland, especially since I'm used to diving
there all the time! It was the perfect backdrop for
our ceremony and reception. And the hot tub....I don't
think there is anything better for a bride and groom than
soaking in that jacuzzi at the end of a very long day.
After all the guests had finally left, Andy and I just stared
at the stars and the ocean while enjoying a relaxing soak
before bed.
As
far as the reception goes, all of our guests tell us that
the food was incredible! Of course, our Geographic
photographer, Courtney, had us on the ironshore at sunset
for pictures, so I think Andy and I missed a lot of the
wonderful munchies we had selected. We did get to
partake in the Black Angus filet station, which was excellent.
Please pass along our compliments to Hans, and the rest
of the kitchen crew.
And
most of all, thanks to you, Ari and the rest of the Cobalt
staff for the incredible hospitality and service.
I never feared once during the wedding that there would
be an situation that Cobalt couldn't handle. And my
family and out-of-town friends could not stop raving at
the wonderful and personalized service they were given during
their stay. Honestly, my Dad was bored during his
first visit to Cayman when he stayed at my apt. After
staying at Cobalt in March for the wedding, he wanted to
extend his vacation! My parents enjoyed having breakfast
on the ocean very morning!
